A Brugmansia diamond in the rough

This new Angel Trumpet seedling grabbed my attention earlier this week when its first bloom opened.  It is from a cross I made between Brugmansia Herrenhauser Gold and Langenbuscher Garten.

herenhausergoldxlangenbuschergarten.jpgBecause this was the very first bloom on this seedling, the bloom is sort of a mess. I think it shows great potential and I'm certain the next blooms will be much better. I have at least 20 more seedlings of this same cross yet to bloom, several of which are setting buds now.  With such great parentage,  I just know additional gems will surface.
