A flamboyant Brugmansia shows off its blooms

paintedladyxadeline2-2.jpgThis floriferous seedling is from the brugmansia cross of Painted Lady x Adeline.  The blooms pictured here are cool weather blooms, which often tend to be lighter in color than those produced in warm weather.

paintedladyxadeline2-1.jpgThe blooms have a nice flounce to them and are long lasting.  The plant has been a vigorous grower and has remained pest free.  I'll watch this one into next summer to see how it performs.
