An Angel Trumpet that's back in the watch zone...

Today's featured Angel Trumpet is a seedling that was carried over from my 2008 watch zone.  It is from a brugmansia seedling from a cross between (Hawaiian Double White x L'amour) x Day Dreams.

hawaiiandblwhitexlamourxdaydreams.jpgThis brugmansia seedling has turned out to be a real beauty. It had a major setback in last winter's freeze and had to rebound from ground level. It is just now getting large enough for me to grab a few cuttings and try and root them.  If it propagates well and remains true to itself it may be well on the way to become a registered and named cultivar next year.
