Summer Clean-up

Let the fun begin!

I had a busy summer in my event business so the brugmansia plants in my nursery have gotten out of control this summer. Fortunately I've had a couple of open weekends and I was able to schedule several work till you drop days.

My first major project was to trim back overgrown plants and brugmansia seedlings. I ended up with a small mountain of brug cuttings as you can see in the photo below..

 

I hated to do this because lots of the plants were setting buds, but I had no choice as many of them were pushing up through the shadecloth on the roof.  This helped me free up some space too.  Tomorrow I plan on cleaning up the floor and consolidating the plants.

The work never ends...
