If you like them big, you'll like this Brugmansia

If you like giant Angel Trumpet blooms, you will love the blooms on this new Brugmanisa seedling.  The cross is Brugmansia (Color Point x Angels Flight) x Langenbuscher Garten.

colorpointxangelsflightxlangenbuschergarten2-3.jpgThe pendant blooms on this seedling are the largest yellow/orange blooms I have observed on a Brugmansia plant. The long lasting blooms have good substance and remain open in the heat.  The color is rich and consistent throughout the life of the blooms.

I plan to incorporate this seedling in hybridizing program this winter.  With genes from 'Angels Flight' and 'Langenbuscher Garten" in its gene pool, perhaps I can develop a seedling with giant double orange blooms.
