I've been trialing this Angel Trumpet seedling for several years now and it has turned out to be a real winner.  The cross is Brugmansia 'Bert' x 'Naughty Nick'.

bertxnaughtynick-9.jpgThe blooms almost always have 4 skirts, are above average in size, and are long lasting. The plant loves to bloom too and it seems like it is always in bloom.

BERTXNAUGHTYNICK-8.jpgThe plant has its father's growth habit. Like 'Naughty Nick' it is a vigorous grower and the seedling is pushing up the roof in my 12ft tall shade house.

BERTXNAUGHTYNICK-7.jpgIn our recent cooler weather the blooms have been picking up some apricot color, but for most of the year they are a creamy white.  It is not uncommon for the blooms to have 6 skirts like the bloom in the photo below.

Thumbnail image for BERTXNAUGHTYNICK-6.jpgI plan to name and register this seedling in early 2013. I put it into production last fall so I'll have plenty of plants available this spring.

Now i just need to come up with an appropriate name for it.
