It is from a cross involving Brugmansia (Serendipity x Peanut) x Jamies Monkey Business.I carried this one over because the blooms had great form and the soft yellow color carried all the way through the corolla tube.Another plus for this seedling was the fact that the blooms stayed yellow throughout their life cycle. Even though our night-time low temperatures are breaking records (low's near 80f), and the highs are in the mid 90's, these plants are blooming like crazy. Now that both myself and my plants have thawed out, I can assess the freeze damage. It is not a pretty sight around here as you can see by looking at this picture of one of my larger angel trumpets, brugmansia Coral Glow. Fortunately it did not get nearly as cold as many forecasters had predicted. The low temperature hovered around 29 for a couple of hours and briefly dropped to 28.
