This Angel Trumpet seedling was placed in my watch zone last summer and now it has earned keeper status.  It is from a cross involving Brugmansia Pink Perfektion x Orange Sunshine.The blooms are thick textured and long lasting.  I really like their flouncy look too.This seedling has been a frequent bloomer and its snow white blooms are an eye-catcher.It would have been nice if some of Brugmansia Orange Sunshine's color would have carried over to these blooms.  Perhaps a second generation ...

Here's a new Angel Trumpet seedling that might as well be an orphan because its blooms have nothing in common with the blooms of its parents.  It is from a cross involving Brugmansia Pink Perfektion and Orange Sunshine.    Its snow white double Angel Trumpet blooms stand out from the dozens of other double white seedlings that bloomed this year because of its thick texture.  Thick texture equates to a more durable, longer lasting bloom. Today's featured Angel Trumpet seedling has a rich cantaloupe color.  It is a seedling from the cross of brugmansia Pink Perfektion x Cassies Curls. The blooms are slightly fragrant and long lasting. Seeing how this is the first seedling from this cross to bloom, I'll let it hang around for a while just in case I need it to cross back to its siblings.  Compared to some of the other "oranges" I have in my watch zone already, I'm not sure this one is special enough to move up to the watch zone. 

Just before dusk tonight I spotted this rainbow illuminating the sunset lit sky.   The real pot of gold at the end of this rainbow is the cool weather that is moving in on Saturday.

I decided to make this a two for Tuesday and post another whitey.  With the parents this Angel Trumpet seedling has, brugmansia (Double Dark Rosetta x Angel's Flight) x Pink Perfektion. you would think some color would be injected into this bloom. Nothing special here but it should be noted that it is blooming during the hot Florida Summer months and it is staying snow white.
