The blooms on this new Angel Trumpet seedling have great form, but the color is rather drab.  The cross is Brugmansia Rubiline x (Creamsickle x Candida Pink).Although the color appears darker in this night shot, the blooms start out a cream color and turn more of a dull apricot/yellow as they mature.The plant has been a vigorous grower with frequent flushes of blooms. I don't think this one is worthy of registering but it is too showy for me to just toss.  I think I may chop this one up next ...

Today's featured Angel Trumpet seedling is from a cross between Brugmansia Rubiline x Pink Smitty.  As you can see, the bloom has a very strong resemblance to it's daddy, Pink Smitty.  When I snapped this picture it was still int he 80's at night so the bloom looks sort of wilted.  Any brug that holds up under our hot Florida summer weather is certainly worth watching.  Right now this is just another double pink to me so it will need to prove its worthiness if it is to remain in my breeding ...

At least that is what is looks like when you look at these buds.  With the fat corolla tube and the way the tendrils point down, the buds look like little spaceships hanging on a tree.Today's whitey is a cross between brugmansia Lady Liberty, a beautiful double white from Brenda Delph, x Rubiline.  The blooms hold up well in the heat, are thick textured and have a nice fragrance.  What to do, what to do.....Blooming at the same time I have several Brugmansia Rubiline x Lady Liberty ...
