When I'm out snapping photos of my new blooms, often I do not see creatures that may be on or near them until I review the photos later.  While checking out some recent photos I shot of this Brugmansia Rubirosa x Sam seedling I spotted this tiny spider making his rounds.A spider sure beats seeing the pairs of eyes glowing in the background I often see on some of my nighttime photos.

Considering this plant is only two feet tall right now, Brugmansia Andrew's Gold still makes an impact. This one did not have a tag, but I am fairly certain it is Painted Lady. Today's featured Angel Trumpet seedling is from a cross involving brugmansia Rubirosa x Sam.  With great parents like those you would expect this seedling to be a winner, and it is!   I have another seedling from this cross that has bloomed and the blooms are even nicer.  This one will get moved up to a larger pot and placed in my watch zone to see how it performs in the long run.  I also plan to cross it back to Rubirosa when the next set of blooms open.

Here's a nicely colored pink Angel Trumpet that has been blooming in our record heat.  It is from a cross between brugmansia Rubirosa and Sam.  With parentage like that you would expect this seedling to be one to watch.  I'll let this one try and impress me this fall when I decide which of the dozens of single pinks I'm watching make it to the keeper zone.
