Last season I ramped up my brugmansia hybridizing efforts using brugmansias with mutant and deeply serrated foliage.  The results of those efforts are coming to fruition and now many of the new seedlings are starting to bloom. Here's one that is showing great promise!

  

Here's another Angel Trumpet seedling from a cross I made between Brugmansia Inca Sun X Angels Goldface.   When you look at the bloom face it has a very strong resemblance to its father, Brugmansia Angels Goldface. This was the first bloom on this seedling so I'll have to wait and see if the resemblance continues.  As is often the case with new seedlings with multi-skirted blooms, the bloom form will evolve and change as the seedling matures.I still have at least a dozen more seedlings from ...

My previous post featured a seedling from a cross I made between Brugmansia Angels Goldface x Inca Sun. Here's one of my Angel Trumpet seedlings that has been a standout this summer.  It has been a prolific bloomer with thick textured, petite sized butter yellow blooms.
