Last week during my Brugmansia Bloomapalooza, I was greeted by an Angel Trumpet bloom that took my breath away.  It was on a seedling from a Brugmansia cross involving (Jacayna x The Chief) #5 x America. Here's another seedling from a cross I made between Brugmansia Jazzy x Naughty Nick.  This Angel Trumpet is a sibling to the Brugmansia Jazzy x Naughty Nick seedling pictured in my previous post and was in bloom at the same time.  As you can see, this Angel Trumpet has a very strong resemblance to its mother, Brugmansia Jazzy. It has Jazzy's form and Naughty Nick's color.  I plan to cross this one back to Naughty Nick next month to see what the outcome will be.

For many Brugmansia lovers, having an Angel Trumpet like "Shredded White" pictured below is a real treat.Here's another version of a shredded bloom that is not a treat to have in your garden,It's hard to believe a little worm could do so much damage....and make such a mess!
