Based on some of the blooms I have recently experienced, I expect fall to be full of surprises. Here's a new seedling that recently bloomed that has already set the bar very high for fall. It is from a cross I made between Brugmansia Angels Swingtime x (Shooting Star x New ... It has Marshmallow Sunset's form with a creamy yellow color influenced by Angels Goldface. Brugmansia Marshmallow Sunset has been a great performer and a standout in my Brugmansia jungle. I feel it has lots of potential as a parent and has been used extensively in my breeding program the past two years. I 'm currently growing out seedlings ... It is from a cross I made between Brugmansia Bergische Symphony x Marbach. It is with a group of about 400 gallon sized seedlings I potted up this spring. This seedling was super charged and grew much faster than the others in the group, and was was the first of the bunch to bloom. It is already experiencing its second flush of blooms, while none of the other seedlings are even ready to start setting buds. The ... Here is one that caught my attention this weekend. It is a seedling from a cross I made between Brugmansia Angels Summerset x (Terri Schindler Shiavo x New Orleans Lady). The rich golden yellow color extends all the way up the corolla tube and the color was consistent through the life of the bloom. The blooms are average in size with good substance. The father of this seedling, ... Here's an Angel Trumpet seedling I'm watching from a reverse of that same cross. This is just one of several seedlings in my watch zone from a cross I made between Brugmansia Inca Sun x Angels Goldface. The bloom color starts out a deep yellow and ages to a rich orange. The blooms are similar in size to those of it's mother, Inca Sun. I like the distinct trumpet shape of the bloom and the ... It has been a prolific bloomer with thick textured, petite sized butter yellow blooms. The cross is Brugmansia Angels Goldface x Inca Sun.This is just one of many seedlings I have from this cross, and a reverse cross, Brugmansia 'Inca Sun' x 'Angels Goldface' that I have placed into my watch zone. I still have at least 10 seedlings from those two crosses that have yet to bloom, and I'm certain a few of them will ... It is unusual in that the bloom is pink, rather than the cream to apricot color normally found on this type of variegated Angel Trumpet. Pink blooms are more commonly found on variegated brugmansia with more of a suave influence like 'Katrine Bonte'.The variegation on this seedling is a cream on green color, and the plant is on the smaller side.Don't expect to see ... This Brugmansia seedling from a cross I made between Brugmansia 'Orange Zest' and 'White Magic' has a delicious peach/cantaloupe color not commonly found in a double bloom. The blooms are medium in size and hold up well in the heat. The seedling is a vigorous grower and has remained pest free. Brugmansia 'White Magic' is the father of this seedling and I ...
